Original color transparency production cel from Tron (1982), used in the making of the film. Each 1/24 of a second frame of the computerized segment of the movie was digitally colored in a painstaking process that could take many hours for each cel. This is considered by many to be the first use of CGI in a movie, which gives these cels historic importance as the film revolutionized movie making. Tron also has become a cult classic that is watched and loved even forty years after its initial release. Cel is a large panoramic 20"x12".
A light source was placed behind the cel in the main photo.
