This is an original The CareBears Movie animation cel, featuring a great full-figure image of one of everyone's favorite animated cartoon character bears used for the animated television movie. Please note that in the scan the color seemed to come out a bit more red. In real life the color is more of a brown/orange.

It is done circa 1980's for the production of the movie from the classic cartoon series. It also includes the matching original drawing, which has been affixed directly behind the cell (you can see some of the drawn outline). It is stuck directly on, so we are not sure if it is removable. The full cell and drawing measures approximately 10 3/4" by 13", and is a standard hand-painted 3-peghole cell.

This is an outstanding vintage TCB piece, and a fantastic example to own a piece of one of the most beloved and iconic TV and movie character franchises of all-time. This is an outstanding collectible piece that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and is a must-have for the collection of any CB fan and a perfect gift. These are also apparently fairly rare and hard to find, as it seems the studio may have thrown out alot of the cels used to make the movie. Check out our other auctions for more great items.
